Submission Wrestling

Our Submission Wrestling program is a sophisticated hybrid of the world’s most effective grappling arts. By integrating the explosive takedowns of wrestling, the technical precision of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and the powerful throws of Judo, we provide a curriculum designed for both self-defense and high-level competition.

Control, Position, and Finish

Success in submission wrestling comes from understanding leverage, timing, and control. Our classes are designed to teach you how to:

  • Establish Dominant Positions: Learn how to secure and maintain positions such as mount, side control, and back control.
  • Execute Effective Takedowns: Use wrestling-based entries to bring the fight to the ground with confidence.
  • Apply High-Percentage Submissions: Develop the mechanics of chokes and joint locks with proper technique and control.

A Long-Term Path to Mastery

Grappling is a deep and rewarding discipline that involves a vast array of technical data. We recognize that mastering the ground game is a marathon, not a sprint—it can take years of dedicated practice to achieve true proficiency. Because of this complexity, our program is built on a systematic, rotating curriculum designed to ensure no detail is overlooked.

Why Train Submission Wrestling?

Whether your goal is to compete in MMA, excel in Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, or simply gain the confidence that comes with elite grappling skills, our program offers a structured roadmap. You will learn to move with efficiency, use leverage over strength, and solve the “human chess match” of combat sports.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all. One of the biggest misconceptions is that you need to be fit to start martial arts. Our classes are designed to help you build your fitness from the ground up. You’ll develop cardio, strength, and flexibility at your own pace while learning the fundamentals.

For your first session, just bring comfortable athletic wear (like a T-shirt and shorts/leggings) and a water bottle. As you progress into specific programs like Boxing or Muay Thai, we can recommend the right gloves, hand wraps, or shin guards. We also have “loaner” gear available for beginners to try out!

Absolutely. We offer an introductory trial session for all residents. This allows you to meet our instructors, see the facility, and experience the vibe of the gym before making any long-term decisions.

We believe our training speaks for itself, so we offer flexible membership options. While we have discounted rates for longer commitments, we also offer month-to-month plans for those who prefer more flexibility without being locked into a multi-year deal.
